Uganda Wildlife Authority keeps the Gorilla and Chimpanzees Permit fees Unchanged for July 2022 to July 2024

The Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) recently announced the new tariff for 2022 to 2024, the tariff fees will be taking effect from from July 2022 to July 2024.

The Uganda Wildlife Authority twitted on their handle @ugwildlife;

Our gorilla and chimpanzee permit rates will remain unchanged in the new Conservation Tariff for 2022 – 2024. Enjoy this lifetime experience in Uganda

In the new tariff, the gorilla tracking permit fees remain as: Foreign Non Resident permit- USD 700, Foreign Resident Permit – USD 600 and the East African Citizen – UGX 250,000.

For the chimpanzee tracking permit fees, the Foreign Non Resident permit- USD 200, Foreign Resident Permit – USD 150 and East African Citizen – UGX 150,000

Most of the other rates also remain unchanged except the park entrance at Murchison Falls national park that has been increased by $5. UWA has explained to be going to their conservation efforts.
